Course Description.
The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology will prepare you for a career in complementary therapy. The human is a complex organism containing 206 bones and more than 600 muscles, along with an intricate network of blood vessels, nerves, and other integrated systems,
Anatomy is the study of form and physiology is the study of function. As form and function are connected, the study of both anatomy and physiology are intrinsically linked, and therefore studied together.

A deposit of £295.00 will secure your place.
Course fees may be paid in full or the balance may be spread over two monthly instalments of £105.00 (Includes a 5% admin fee)

Entry Requirements.
This course is ideal for complete beginners, and is suitable for anyone with an interest in complementary therapies. Anyone who is looking to change career whilst working full time. Entry onto this Level 3 Certificate qualification can be via previous attainment of a Level 2 qualification in complementary therapy and/or a successful initial assessment and interview.
How you will be taught.
This is an intensive blended 12 week course delivered via Zoom, 2.5 hours per week. The exam days will be confirmed once the course is underway. The exams are for the Anatomy and Physiology and the Pathology unit is an assignment based portfolio that is assessed throughout the course. You will be guided and encouraged with ongoing assessments and feedback both verbally and written.

The teaching takes place in my purpose-built cabin, which provides a beautifully relaxed setting, where I look forward to welcoming you and your fellow students and guiding you towards becoming a fully qualified therapist.
What could this qualification lead to?
The course has been designed for use within complementary therapies. The knowledge of human anatomy and physiology is essential in these therapies. Whether you are studying to be a reflexologist, a massage therapist or even a pilates or yoga instructor, this course will provide a foundational understanding of the human body and how it functions.
Who supports this qualification?
This qualification is based on the complementary therapy National Occupational Standards (NOS) and is recognised by the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).
Please note that this qualification is called a “Certificate” as from 1st September 2012. The word diploma was removed from all Anatomy and Physiology and Pathology qualifications, to meet Government approved Awarding Organisation requirements. A Level 3 Certificate is now the recognised qualification by the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and the industry standard.
